About the project

A friend and former colleague reached out to me for assistance in designing a brochure for M4H. Meanwhile, M4H was engaged in compiling a report using data gathered from the world’s leading asset managers. The findings of the survey underscored the misunderstanding and underfunding of the mining industry, emphasizing the urgent need for prioritizing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors to attract investment funds.

At the start of this project, the final report’s written content was 90% complete, leading to the conversion of data into visually engaging graphics. Additionally, it required finding the right balance between text and graphics for a seamless layout. The final report comprised 17 pages packed with compelling insights into the mining industry and its pivotal role in driving the green transition.

During that period, M4H was in the process of unveiling their updated website branding. The concept behind this report was to align with the fresh identity. The primary design pattern of the report, represented by the copper-colored rectangle, echoed the new aesthetic of the website. For the report cover, I utilized the pattern in an incomplete grid of rectangles to visually depict the report title and convey the idea of gap.
