Grainy Rolls kicked off as a fun little experiment during the pandemic when things were getting a bit too remote and creativity seemed elusive. It was my way of finding a creative escape from the challenges of working from home.
What started as a light-hearted project quickly grew into a full-blown passion. I dove into the world of film photography, rolling up my sleeves to develop rolls at home since the labs were off-limits. That’s when I stumbled upon Caffenol, a nifty eco-friendly solution for developing black-and-white film.
Originally just an Instagram account, Grainy Rolls blossomed into a small visual identity. It’s my way of sharing my love for film photography and shouting out the eco-friendly vibes in film development.
